ok results, not smooth install process |

i was totally impressed in the beginning. however, after the price i paid and the product/service i got, i am no longer impressed. the morning of my install i got a call that my cabinets had been shipped somewhere else. but the crew was coming over anyway. my one man crew did an excellent job, however he had to make the end cap of my dishwasher cabinet by hand because the real one was not there. after sliding my new dishwasher in, i saw that there was a big gab and an unfinished edge showing. he told me the dishwasher was too far in. now that i've pulled it out, there is still a gap, and an unfinished edge that doesn't look good. we had to be here during our weekend so the installer could finish up when the correct cabinets finally arrived. and our salesperson had put down the wrong drawer type so we had to have another person come out the next week to install the correct ones. our new stainless steel sink was rusty in a week. the man that fixed the drawers said it was a bad sink and he would have someone come out and install a new sink for me so that i would not have to play my own plumber again. however, 2 weeks later, a new sink just showed up at my door. i had my plumber come out a second time (at my own expense) and as he was installing it, realized that it was bent and warped and would not sit flat on the counter. i called home depot again and told them i should not have to pay my plumber to come out for a third time and i wanted to talk to someone about other options. i was told someone would call me back the next day to discuss. the next day i came home from work to find yet another sink left at my front door. apparently i have to pay my plumber a third time to come and try to install another sink. i was so impressed with the customer service at the start of the project, and now that it's over i feel like nobody has the time to address any issues. it was very disappointing and has now left a bad feeling for me towards home depot. as well as this refacing project, i have purchased a dishwasher and a washer/dryer at the same time. i won't be shopping at home depot anymore. sorry.
